Anam Ahsani
Anam Ahsani - Audit Accountant, Business Owner, and Volunteer
An alumna of the University of California, Berkeley, Anam Ahsani previously worked as an audit accountant at OUM & Co. LLP in San Francisco. At the firm, she handled the accounting needs of mid-sized businesses and also worked with public companies, drafting their Form 10-Ks for SEC reporting. In addition, Anam Ahsani supervised and trained staff accountants on inventory reconciliations and documentation.
Prior to OUM & Co, LLP, Anam Ahsani was a finance assistant at UC Berkeley Operational Excellence (now New Revenue Initiative). She performed financial analysis and database research for studies and developed ideas to enhance administrative management. She previously interned at the Golden State Warriors (public affairs), Gateway Learning Group (finance and accounting), and BlueTies (marketing analysis).
Anam Ahsani is also a business owner. She founded Anam’s cartoons for a Cause in 2018 to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has strong organizing and fundraising skills, having served as the vice president and logistics director at Cal Pakistani Students Association while at UC Berkeley. She also founded and led a club at the university (Pennies for Patients) and was event chair at The Californians. Anam Ahsani has won several awards for her volunteer work, including the President Obama Volunteer Service Gold Award and the AT&T Women’s Scholarship.
In her free time, Anam Ahsani enjoys watching basketball games. She also enjoys volunteering as an art teacher at the Islamic Center at NYU and reading books on leadership and history.
